Shan took the kids up to the Y right before sunset the other night. It is a pretty steep climb, but they made it after taking plenty 'o breaks. Madeline says next time, she's going to make it all by herself, so we'll have to see about that! I just love looking at the most important people in my life- I love, love, love them, every single one.

Looks like some great family fun. Madeline, the actual feet to the ground is way over rated. Don't be in a hurry to give up the view and your perch.

I MISS my darling grandbabes! Beautiful family. Beautiful shots. I swear I'd hike the Y again if there was just a little pool near by. A little pool with a water fall warmed by hot spings, with little trees and foliage around, preferably pale blue water, birds chirping and singing in the trees... smooth slabs of rock forming a little lounge area, white sand...
Way to go! What a view and experience for everyone.
